YOU'VE GOT QUESTIONS, WE'VE GOT ANSWERS!

  • Is there a dress code?
Of course. We ask for there to only be one-piece bathing suits at camp or a dark-colored t-shirt over a two-piece. Avoid short shorts (including guys showing off the bro thighs), spaghetti strap shirts, or really anything that will be a distraction to those around you. We honor God with how we dress. Be cool, but don’t be a fool! If needed, help a brother or sister out.
  • Where will camp be located?
We will be located on the campus of Western Carolina University located at: 1 University Dr. Cullowhee, NC 28723.
  • What are the accommodations like?
You will be staying in college dormitories. Most rooms are double occupancy and have two beds, two desks, two chairs, and two dressers. (There are a few one and three person rooms on campus that we use). Bathrooms vary based on each dorm. (Some rooms have private baths, some share with the room next to it, and some have hallway baths shared by all). You will need to bring your own linens to fit a twin size bed.
  • What should I bring? (Packing List Here!)
  • What about day campers?
Unfortunately, the camp cannot take day campers. Any person desiring to come to camp must be a part of a chaperoned group and has to participate in the entire week with housing and meals included.
  • What will my student be doing?
Having FUN of course!!! ;) Here is a sample schedule of what our students will be doing throughout the week:
  • What is the age limit for camp?
Campers need to be at least 11 years (typically rising 7th graders) to graduating seniors. College students are welcome to attend as chaperones. Reach out to one of our leaders if you would like to chaperone.
  • What is camp all about?
At GENERATE our team will work hard to serve you and your needs well while creating an experience that will impact the other 51 weeks of your ministry year. We are strategic and intentional to create experiences where the name of Jesus is lifted up, where the Gospel is proclaimed through the preaching and studying of the Word, and where not only are students encouraged to take the next step in their faith journey, but the challenge and opportunity to be a person of global impact is clear. These experiences happen in times of personal devotion, in small group times of reading, listening, and responding, in group building and serving, in times of corporate worship, and in strategic times with your church. In the end, a camp can’t really change a life, but a real experience with God can. We don’t want to simply create moments. We want to partner with you and be a part of moments that matter through the work of God.
  • Will other churches be attending this camp?
Yes! However, our church group will be TOGETHER. Our own Fuse Leaders will be teamed up with students from our church and will be attending activities together. Each team group will have up to 8 students.
  • What are the camp dates for 2024?
We will be attending Generate Summer Camp July 22nd-26th.
  • Do I have to sign any forms?
Well.. yeah.. Required forms from our church: Click here to download the Fuse Summer Camp Liability/Emergency Contact Form. Required forms from the camp: These are coming soon! We will keep you posted via email once the camp has sent us the form requirements for camp this year. All forms will be due by May 15th! Once completed, please email a copy to: fuse@myhomechurch.cc
